24 10 2008 Embarking on a 32 hours ride from Novossibirsk to Irkutsk
This video does not really show the smoke coming out of the carriages (the coal burning heaters), a scene that seen with your eyes looks straight out of a movie. Pinch me.
14 10 2008 A pelerod, the Russian pedestrian tunnels.
They re nice to keep you warm in winter, like supposing you forgot your winter jacket on a Polish bus, but they also show that cars above your head have a special status: they don t have to stop to let people cross the street.

This night on the train will be the 3rd without bathing, fortunately i found out that i was not yet the worst smelling in the carriage.
13 10 2008 Fresh and alert in Riga
Another bus trip, 14 hours to Riga. I forgot my new jacket on the bus. My goal is now to loose less than ¹item every 24 hours.

After a lovely 26 hours Eurolines trip from Paris to Warsaw, with Polish drivers. 26 hours of Polish folk music in the bus. Little sleep.
